Reservations & Sales Policy
GENERAL INFORMATION
All goats will be disbudded, tattooed, castrated when applicable, vaccinated (unless we have discussed otherwise), and have their hooves trimmed prior to leaving the farm. Goats will be sold with ADGA registration papers or a registration application form. Kids will be dam raised except for when bottle feeding is required due to medical necessity and/or safety reasons.

We provide a health care record for each goat and are available to help in the future for questions, advice, or mentoring. We encourage you to visit our farm and meet us and our goats. You are welcome to arrange a time to visit prior to or after sending a deposit to reserve your goat.

PLEASE take the time to ask us questions, meet the animals, and assess the animal you are purchasing. We want you to be happy with the animal you are purchasing and with your experience with us, but for biosecurity concerns we cannot take back an animal once it has left our property. We keep a closed, clean tested herd and strive to breed hardy, structurally correct, disease-free animals that thrive and produce well in our region. We cannot control what happens to the animals once they are out of our care and are unable to make guarantees to the future health or quality of the animal.

RESERVATION POLICY
Contact us to let us know which goat(s) you are interested in or the pairing that you would like to reserve a kid from. If you are reserving a goat kid that has not yet been born, indicate if you are interested in a doeling, buckling (intact), or wether (castrated). No money is due for reservations made prior to kidding.

DEPOSIT POLICY
Once the kids are born, you will be contacted and asked to send a deposit equal to 50% of the agreed upon purchase price of the goat(s) you are interested in to hold them until weaning at 8 weeks old. If the deposit is not received within 7 days, your reservation will be forfeited.
You must pick up your goat(s) no longer than 7 days after the agreed upon date, or your deposit will be forfeited and the goat will be re-posted for sale.

We reserve the right to make the decision to retain any kids born in our herd up until the time that the sale is completed. If this happens, you can choose to either have your deposit refunded or applied to another available kid.

In the event that something were to happen to the goat you have placed a deposit on prior to them leaving our farm, your deposit will be refunded, or if you choose, will be transferred to another available goat. Deposit and final sales fees are otherwise nonrefundable. This helps compensate for the lost opportunity to advertise a goat we believed already had a buyer. Thank you for your understanding.

PAYMENT POLICY
Deposits can be paid via Cash, Venmo, or PayPal (a 3% processing fee will be applied unless sending via Friends and Family). The remaining balance will be due at the time of pick up. All animals must be paid in full before leaving the farm.

For your convenience, prices for all kids are listed on the kidding schedule page. (Please note that these prices are for pre-reserved kids only. Once kids are born, prices for unreserved kids may increase.) Goats will be posted to the Available Goats page as able, but we recommend following our Facebook Page (Croft Country Farm) for the most current updates and availability.

DISCOUNTS
We will offer a $25 discount per goat when sibling pairs/multiples are purchased together. Discounts may be available for multiples of other breeds of animals that we sell as well. Please contact us to discuss this further.

OTHER ANIMALS
The sales policy listed above also applies to the other animals we offer for sale at Croft Country Farm. Based on the final price and demand of the animal (pigs, birds, rabbits, cats, etc.), deposits may not be required and payment in full will be collected at time of pick up. The need for a deposit will be at the discretion of Croft Country Farm.
